UserTradin15 Hard one to call. The problem of Monaco is that their defense is really, really poor. And I am not basing this only on City game. Even last Saturday they let Angiers missed 3-4 clean chances.

BVB is a lot better in the defensive department. And if Tuchel decides to play with 3-4-3, this might be too hard for Monaco.

There will surely be goals in at least one of these two games, but not sure whether they will make the goal galore now or leave it for Monaco. The lineup of BVB will tell us a lot about their intentions. If they play 3-4-3 and put more defensive profile midfielders (guys like Weigl, Pasalich, Rode), then they will clealry try to be more cautious and not concede.

    Sport: Football
    Event: Champions League
    Start time: 20:45
Game: Borussia Dortmund v AS Monaco
Pick: Over 3,75 goals @2,30 or more!
    Bookies Offer: Pinnacle @2,35!
    Stake: 10/10
    Analysis:
We will stay in the strongest Club competition in the World and take a bet on goals. It is actually no surprise, I am sure you follow Monaco and know how they play. Their oponents under Tuchel perhaps are not playing the same kind of kamikaze football as they did under Klopp, but Dortmund in their Signal Iduna Park are always pressing their oponents and trying to score one more.
Currently 4th, Dortmund are not having the best of seasons in Bundesliga and they are coming off humiliating 1-4 defeat at Bayern, but I am sure we will see different Dortmund tomorrow. They will be motivated and boosted by return of some of the players (Kagawa, Schurrle, Weigl and Piszczek are all back in training and available and Tuchel said he will surely pick some of them. Dortmund at home has an average of 3 goals at home (in the League) and in Champions League they have won 4-0 against Benfica, 8-4 against Legia (***61514 and although they were also unders, that won`t happen here.
Monaco as said are fantastic. We still remember their game in Manchester (at City, 3-5) and in the League they regularly have 4-5 goals scored in their games. They play high tempo football and are Ligue 1 leaders, although they have lost derby against PSG (1-4).
For me, both to score match surely, my call is 3-2!
    GL!

    UserTradin19 Hi,

Monaco isn't in a good shape since the international break.
Ok they won against Lille in French cup but everybody beats Lille.
They lost 4-1 in league cup final and last week-end they were horrible in Angers and their victory is a miracle.
They started the season very early and play seriously every competition (even the league cup...) and imo the players are tired so far.
Sidibe, bakayoko and Mendy are so important.
Without them i don't see how Monaco will manage, especially against fast players as Dembele and Aubame.
Monaco could score with Mbappe, Silva and Falcao and i think this team can score against everybody even top teams.
But without this 3 key players they could concede 3 or 4. And i'll not surprised if it's happen.

Ok thx.Watched last their game,0:1 ,and Bakayoko seemed very bad, maybe its good momentum for him to be rested ?
And one thing... many times showed that teams after wins like this (undeserved) in league, they play fantastic game in Euro competition (probably their focus was here) ,and hurt a lot betting slips.
I can't tell more about Dortmund at this moment, didn't watched last few games.....But it seems goals are must bet here.....BUT ......

Champions League is back to action and I can say we have four relatively balanced quarter-finals. Besides mega-derbies facing Barca vs Juve and Bayern vs Real M, clash between Borussia Dortmund and Monaco arouse huge interest with all names in both sides.
Dortmund is back home after a devastating defeat from Bayern Munich on Saturday, but I don't believe it will affect over their attitude here. I highly doubt someone in Dortmund has some special Bundesliga aspirations and it's crystal clear that Bayern will retain its trophy there, while Dortmund should do enough to stay in top 3. However, Dortmund is active on two other fronts - one of them domestic, other one is the CL.
Monaco is also very active on few domestic fronts and Les Monégasques regained confidence after losing the League Cup final to PSG (1-4). That disappointing result has been followed by two wins in the French Cup and Ligue 1, leaving them a main favourite for domestic glory.
Leaving all superlatives aside, Dortmund and Monaco are filled by talented players but experience is the thing winning the big games. And an upcoming quarter-final tie is surely a big chance for both clubs as it secures one of the semi-final spots for the winner.
Perhaps managerial duel between Thomas Tuchel and Leonardo Jardim should be decisive for this clash and we have two ambitious personalities. Stake is huge so despite all high-scoring results so far, I won't be surprised if the game starts with more patience and careful approach by either Dortmund or Monaco. Or why not even both?
Tuchel remains without two big names - Reus and Götze, but good news are coming from rumours that Weigl should return in the lineup here. That's a big plus IMO and a good reason why Dortmund will look stronger with a 4-1-4-1 formation, having Weigl as a link between defenders and midfielders (probably Guerreiro and Castro). Expectations are that Tuchel will change his formation and the centre-back trio will be replaced by quartet with Schmelzer-Bartra-Sokratis-Piszczek. Latter was rested in the weekend by the way.
Despite losing in Munich, Tuchel has no intention to touch his attack and if a hot prospect like Mbappe takes the whole attention, we shouldn't underestimate Ousmane Dembele and Christian Pulisic, who remain in shadow of Mbappe's form, when we speak about hottest prospects in European football. Moreover, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scores more at home and last weekend's trip to Munich was his first goal drought after seven successive games, in which he scored an impressive amount of 11 goals.
Latest news about Monaco are related with name of Djibril Sidibe who isn't with the group and joins list of other absentees - Gabriel Boschilia, Guido Carrillo and Tiemoué Bakayoko. And if Boschilia and Carrillo are not key-players, then Sidibe and Bakayoko are surely two of the names who contribute for the overall look of Monaco.
Sidibe will be replaced by someone between Andrea Raggi or Almamy Toure, while Joao Moutinho is the favourite to replace Bakayoko in midfield. If Moutinho is perhaps the most experienced player (alongside Danijel Subasic, Glik, Raggi and Falcao) in current Monaco squad, then experience of Raggi is on stake, since he may have huge trouble against quick Dortmund wingers. That's why Almamy Toure looks to be favourite to start, but his lack of experience in these type of games can be decisive in case that Jardim picks Raggi as a starter.

I think that Dortmund will resurrect after that weekend defeat and Black and Yellows will gain a lead before second-leg in the Principality of Monaco.
